Following a partnership recently established between the “Sociedade Portuguesa de Neonatologia (SPN)” and MHII Solutions, Meliora is going to be used to unlock meaningful insights from the data of national registry of very low birth weight infants.
Through our advanced analytics platform Meliora, SPN associates and other healthcare providers, according to their clinical profiles (Pediatrics, Neonatologists and Nurses), will access clinical and scientific information in a useful and intuitive way about their unit and national reality regarding Portuguese very low birth weight infants. They will find all the information collected in a unique place (anywhere and anytime) where they can identify and investigate problems and new realities about newborns, generate and promote a greater dissemination of good clinical practices, and obtain more clinical and scientific knowledge to support their daily decision making processes in the area of Neonatology.
As data champion of Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Goals, MHII is pleased to empower Neonatology with Meliora, contributing not only for a national purpose as well as its international commitment with SDG 3 target 3.2:
“By 2030, end preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 years of age, with all countries aiming to reduce neonatal mortality to at least as low as 12 per 1,000 live births and under-5 mortality to at least as low as 25 per 1,000 live births.”
